The Story of A kid with a cam'
For as long as I can remember..
... I have always loved taking photos. There's just something about it. The idea of being able to freeze a moment and tangibly possess it in your hands captivates me to this day. Yet the true magic occurs when I combine my skillset within the medium together with amazing moments in a person's life to create images that will last forever. Everytime I pick up a camera it feels like the first time. I never get tired of it. It never feels like work. I love what I do and I'll never stop.

To give you a little background..
.. my photography business started completely by accident. Sure, I would fill up my cell phone storage with pictures within the first few months of getting a new phone, and I would go through disposable cameras like they were water. But I never had any intention on ever pursuing the hobby in a more legitimate sense. But ya know what they say... tell god your plans and he laughs.
In my final semester of nursing school, drowning in exams and anxiety, I realized I was one credit shy of graduating. So what does any 21 year old who is being mandated to take an elective in their final minutes of college do? Look for the easiest thing possible to get a passing grade in... and for me, that was Film Photography 101. I was handed a camera, a roll of film, and given a task. Within a week I had to have the whole roll developed and presented to the class.
Little did I know... that bullshit easy A+ would change my life forever
Wait, You're also a Nurse Practitioner?!
Yes, yes I am.. let me explain
In 2018 I became a Registered Nurse and instantly began working in an intensive care unit. I LOVED that job, that is until March of 2020 rolled around. Post pandemic I was totally burnt out, cynical towards the health care system, and in desperate need of a change. With just a few months left in my Nurse Practitioner program, I dug deep, graduated with my masters and the next day quit my job at my local hospital. And while I will always be a nurse at heart... that was the best damn decision I've ever made.
